This past Sunday, I had the pleasure of photographing the incredibly talented Kevin Jackson at Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis, MD. Known for his smooth blend of jazz, funk, and soul, Kevin brought an electrifying energy to the stage — and he didn’t come alone. He performed with a full band that elevated the entire night, delivering a show full of groove, heart, and musical precision.

 As a concert photographer, it’s always a thrill to capture an artist in their element, and Kevin did not disappoint. From intricate guitar solos to dynamic interactions with his bandmates, every moment was rich with emotion and artistry. Rams Head On Stage offered the perfect intimate setting, allowing the audience to connect closely with the music and allowing me to capture some truly powerful images. What made the evening even more exciting was the news that Kevin Jackson had new music on the way this summer. He also teased a special upcoming performance at Morgan State University to celebrate the release — a full-circle moment, as Morgan is his alma mater.
