This past Wednesday evening, I had the incredible opportunity to photograph musical artist Jarrod Lawson as he started his tour. Despite recovering from a recent cold, Jarrod delivered a powerful performance, demonstrating his resilience and passion for music. The venue was packed, creating an electric atmosphere that excited the night.

One of the highlights of Jarrod’s performance was his collaboration with local musicians. He shared with the audience that he enjoys playing with artists from the area, bringing a unique and dynamic energy to each show. In recent years, he has incorporated a live horn section featuring saxophone, trombone, and trumpet players. I can personally attest to how seamlessly they complemented his sound, adding depth and richness to the performance.

Covering this show was an absolute pleasure. Jarrod is making stops throughout the East Coast, and I’m grateful to have had the chance to capture his artistry in action.
